There are few differences between the bats of these two games; firstly the diameter of the baseball barrel is bigger compared to a softball barrel diameter. Another difference is in the diameter that differs along the length of the bat. Finally a softball bat can never replace a baseball bat, since the softball bat is most likely to crack or break while playing a game of baseball.
